There have been numerous projects implemented by various sectors globally, which could not take a shape due to the failure in involving communities within the project framework. Communities should have a feeling of ownership that binds them to the project, in order for the project to operate and sustain. Fund-based approach has not been able to encircle the whole phenomena of development especially in developing countries.

Sustainability is the key. If a project strives to be successful, it is only due to its sustainability mechanism through community involvement.

Green Village Ventures also explores the similar territory, where people are not spectators but participants in their development process.

The projects Green Village Ventures are sustainable and promote local indigenous knowledge. These include Bio Gas, Improved Cooking Stoves, Fuel Switch along with socially responsible endeavors like infrastructure development and improvement (health camps, building schools etc.)

The outlook of GVV is very simple and straightforward.

To empower communities through various development projects by implementing local participation.
To bring in communities to the table as local partners and undertaking projects through use of local knowledge.
To observe and be part of change through bottom up approach and not trickle down modem.
